What is Practical
Wing Chun?
Wing Chun is a Chinese self-defence system, which is said to have been created by a woman more than 300 years ago. The system’s fundamental principles are economy of movement, efficiency, and technique over strength.
The system is focused around centrelines, diagonal lines and angles. The theory behind the basic elements includes balance, timing, control and simultaneity in defence and attacks.
We follow Grandmaster Wan Kam Leung lineage, who modified and improved the Wing Chun system to become more practically applicable, hence the name Practical Wing Chun.
